Film Idea - The Hidden Land

Type: Film

Plot: What if the map of the #world is not entirely true. What if the very people that created it and mapped it out intentionally missed off large areas of land and manipulated the way we learn (schooling / history / geography), what we think (war is necessary) so that we accept that we are forced into a life of slavery to the world through war, work, money and capitalism.

The hidden land is accessible to a select #elite few and these few control the entire world, deciding on wars, famine, the weather (controlled by advanced technological instruments) and watch life as we know it through TV screens as if it was a #horror #movie.

The hidden land is of absolute paradise. Its been built with such highly advanced technology you really do have intelligent robots that self learn and act as slaves: construction, agriculture, machinery - they even build copies of themselves.
The land has perfect weather all year round and abundance resources.  The air is fresh and the sea crystal clear.

Film Idea - Gods vs. Slaves

Type: Documentary

Objective: Display the contrast between the super rich, monarchy, aristocracy (Gods) and the normal working people e.g tax payers / hard working people (Slaves).

Its easy to show the Gods and Slaves, it will be more difficult to conclude this. A capitalist world driven on a monetary system its hard to think of anything else. The idea is to show the two worlds in black and white, side-by-side to draw more realistic conclusions and ask questions based on actualities not on jealousy and hate (or even laziness) .

Production: Show the life in the day of Gods vs. Slaves in parallel .

Approach: It would be almost impossible to actually film "Gods" in their every day life, unless its possible to get hold of leaked footage. Its important that when either Gods or Slaves are being shown in the daily life, its natural. They are not aware they are being filmed.

To film the Slaves, it would be easy with hidden cameras.

To film Gods, it would be necessary to re-use already captured footage.

Film idea - Peoples Say

Type: documentary

Objective: look into the people's subconscious and find out what is on their mind to see if there are any common thoughts.

Production: only two people needed.  Camera operative and interviewer.  Plus random person to interview.

Approach: walk up to random people and ask them "tell me something" if necessary a little help by also saying "this is your chance to have your word on something".

It is essential to do this with women,  men,  children, elderly and disabled people in the morning, day and night both week days and weekends.

It is needed to analyse what people are saying in order to find common ground.  It's possible people are saying one thing but subconsciously mean another.

Experimentation of different class groups and locations possible but too much data to analyse.  Possibly for series 2.

Equipment needed: 1camera,  video editing software,  data analysis software. Access to psychologists to analyse what people are saying.

Film Review - Martyrs

This film while not massively gory, is probably one of the most disturbing films I have seen and only second to Hostel (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450278/) in my opinion. 

The film is essentially about a group of people trying to force captured people into martyrdom.
